Johannesburg, South Africa – HAVAL, the leading Chinese motor vehicle manufacturer in South Africa and a forerunner in the field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology, will be out in full force at the 2023 Festival of Motoring, hosted once more at the home of South African Motorsport, Kyalami International Grand Prix Circuit, from 25-27 August.
One of the highlights of the annual South African motoring calendar, the Festival of Motoring, this year revving up for its sixth edition, guarantees to be bigger and better than ever. HAVAL Motors South Africa, part of the GWM stable, is celebrating its 16th anniversary in the country and now also consistently ranking under the Top Ten best-selling automakers locally, will be fully representing its product range including HAVAL, GWM, TANK 300 and ORA 03.

Headlining the HAVAL exhibition is the soon-to-be-introduced full-electric GWM ORA 03, the most affordable electric vehicle in South Africa, that offers a range of up to 400 km and outputs of 126 kW and 250 Nm.
Adventurers at heart and 4×4 enthusiasts will most likely view he eagerly awaited TANK 300 as the star attraction on the GWM stand. With its standout, boxy design and a turbocharged 2-litre engine that delivers 258 kW of power and 615 Nm of torque, the rugged, capable, yet luxurious TANK 300 is ready to take on any terrain – and it is set to invade Mzansi imminently…
Visitors will be able to experience the new TANK 300 on the 4×4 track. This is the first time, in South Africa, that the public will be able to drive in this exciting vehicle.
Interested customers can experience the capabilities and luxury of the ORA 03, on the main track adding to the excitement of the day. Again, this is a “first” in South Africa.
Besides the range of models on display, HAVAL will also afford showgoers the opportunity to test drive the range on the self-drive track, or to experience the excellent handling traits of the JOLION S and H6 GT on the track, and the capabilities of the P-Series Double Cab bakkie on the dedicated 4×4 track.
